Burmese cats are the perfect cat for the person who would love a dog but for some reason cannot have one.

Incredibly affectionate, and with an intelligence that never stop to shock, Burmese cats are the ultimate companion.

From a very young age Burmese kittens seek human contact, and give a mountain of affection in return to whomever show them love and attention.

Burmese do not like to be left on their own for long time, so another kitten (preferebly from the same litter), would keep them entertained and not get too depressed.

They are also increadibly good with other cats / dogs / children. Always keeping in mind to be sweet with them, and never to hit them or shout at them.

They would take all that very personally and keep for themselves for a while until they think its time to forgive you.

This breed of cats loves the heat and tend to sit for hours on end on radiators in the winter, or on the window sill in the summer to get the heat from the sun.

Burmese love to play, and they learn very very fast to retrieve, respond when called, train on a leash, but their favorite thing is to sit on your laps or cuddle into you in bed, under the blankets of course.

Burmese come in 6 solid colors:

Brown (deep seal colour)

Chocolate

Blue

Lilac

Red

Cream

Also the main colours mentioned above come in Tortoiseshell versions

(like our girl BluePoppy, who is a Blue Tortie).

Please note that 90% of Tortie are females.

Burmese coat:

Burmese have an increadibly silky coat, so much so to have also gain them the nickname of "bricks wrapped in silk", comparing their weight to their coat texture.

They shed only very slightly, and they need very little grooming.

Even passing your hand over their coat is already a way of grooming their beautiful short coat, while giving you a beautiful feeling of relaxation.

3.5Kg - 6.5kG (8-14lb)
